Using a floor vase for wrapping paper
I found this vase at Target for $8 a few weeks ago and bought it. And the instant it landed in our family room (where I thought I wanted it), little man tipped it over. That was the end of having a ceramic vase in our family room. I should know better.
So, I brought it to the office where I keep pretty much everything and let it sit for a few days. As I was tidying up I just stuck the wrapping paper in there and realized that it works pretty well for easily accessible paper. I rarely buy or use wrapping paper, so am not someone who has a stash. This works perfect.
Have you accidentally landed on a new use for something? Just a reminder-you have until March 1 to be eligible to win a $20 Target gift card and your odds are good. Half of the current comments are from me replying to others. Just leave a comment on the PEOPLE Magazine post for your chance.

February 26, 2013 at 6:11 pm (86 days ago)I love this idea! And it looks great! Now I feel like I can buy the umbrella stand I’ve always wanted and I’ll have something to use it for :) We don’t get much rain in our area and our entryway isn’t big enough for an umbrella stand anyway. But I’ve always wanted one!
