My son is active! Super active. Our best days are ones spent climbing, walking, running, jumping, playing, stirring and painting. I thought I would share a few of the things that have been great for B for outdoor play.

1. Prince Lionheart Balance Scooter ($79.99) I’ve heard wonderful things about this scooter and we looked into buying it, but ultimately went with number two.

2. Schwinn toddler boys bike ($86.67) B got this for his birthday this year and he loves it. He rides it daily and the handle for parents is super awesome since he is only two and can’t control the bike all that well.

3. Step2 Water table ($36.79) We have this one and B will play with it for a long long time. Last week he played with it for over an hour while I planted flowers in pots on our front porch. We give him cups, paintbrushes, bath toys and other things to work with. There are also less expensive water table options like number four.

4. American Plastic Toy water wheel play table ($21.95)

5. Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Blossom Sprinkler ($17) One piece of our at-home splash pad. :)

6. Metro Design Sprinkle Ball ($14.99) A second piece of our at-home splash pad.

7. Pottery Barn Kids Adirondack chair ($69)

I like the idea of these gorgeous chairs. In reality, my son rarely just sits.

But how cute is it?

What are some of your favorite summer items for toddlers? We can’t believe what a difference a year makes. Bodhi loved outside last year, but this year, he will entertain himself for large chunks of time with the water table and sandbox. Always looking for other great ways to spend the day.

Just a reminder-please consider voting for us each day in the Circle of Moms Top 25 party planning blogs list. We would be overjoyed to make it to the Top 25. Thank you so much!
