Spring fever

I have spring fever. Bad! I know it’s only January and I live in Minnesota, but I’m ready. So, spring decorating has begun!

When I stopped by Ikea on Monday to pick up curtain rods (and maybe a few other items) for B’s room, I also found many great spring decorating pretties.

These white Skurar vases/lanterns reminded me of Valentine’s Day immediately. Is it because they look like a doily? Do they remind you of LOVE day too?

I added a simple green potted plant from Ikea and then candles to the other two. I tried flowers in the tall one, but wasn’t feeling it.

What do you think? I added them to our kitchen island as a little something special, but may move them to the fireplace mantel if I ever get to changing it up.  Prices ranged from $1.99 to $5.99 for this trio. Oh Ikea! You get me every time.

I love these! I have 3 of the tall ones with plants in my kitchen. I think they can almost work for every season (except I did put them away in the fall). I bought red ribbon to tie around them for Christmas. They are best for spring and summer, though! I love the other two styles, as well!

Nevermind, I have the middle-sized ones!

The middle-sized one is my favorite-less frilly but still feminine and pretty. A trio of the same size would look fabulous in a row. I’ll have to check that out next time I stop over. Great idea to add ribbon for Christmas!

Thanks for supporting IKEA!!! There’s a platter in this same series that works PERFECTLY as a cake platter.

That’s a great idea, Katie! I saw those there and thought they were pretty too.
