Sometimes eating things like raw vegetables, raw unsalted nuts and fruit for snacks can’t happen. Whether it’s your mad sweet tooth (like mine), a craving for something salty or lack of a kitchen to wash and chop, finding better-for-you snacks that taste great is always a good thing.

Green Giant sent me some of their super tasty new Veggie Snack Chips to try and review. I received a bag of Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip – Garden Ranch and Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips – Barbecue. Both were SO good.

I am embarrassed to admit that the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. Seriously! I think I ate half the bag.

And somebody else enjoyed them as well.

Bodhi rarely eats chips, but he quickly realized that he loved these veggie chips! And I’m sure he’ll ask for them again.

We generally try to snack healthy around here.

Tips for snacking healthier

  • Poor the snack in a bowl to limit your portion size. I normally don’t eat straight out of the bag because I know myself too well.
  • Take time for snack time. Rather than graze all afternoon, I try to grab one semi-healthy snack every afternoon around 3 p.m.
  • Have a variety of healthier snacks easily available to you.
