All Summer long, we’ve enjoyed so many impromptu get-togethers with friends and neighbors. A few years ago, I could not have pulled it off, but I’ve become a solid stocker upper. Is that a thing? I stock up on paper plates, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning supplies so we always have enough for ourselves and for any larger gatherings or last minute guests.

I keep napkins and plastic forks in a cute little carrier for quick snacks and dinners on the patio.

There is something so wonderful about the less planned events. I love keeping extra toothbrushes, razors, toothpaste and hand wash around too. That way if we have impromptu or unexpected guests, we’re ready to help them be as comfortable as possible.

In the past, I’ve run out of napkins and paper towels when we’ve had guests. While it certainly isn’t the end of the world, paper towels are a staple for us with young children and many potty accidents (Ezra is potty training). And napkins are obviously required for meals. I love our huge bag of napkins that I keep in the buffet.

When you have a trunk full of groceries and a toddler attached to your hip, it can be tough carrying in those large, often bulky items that keep your hands full. But most shoppers don’t realize they have the option of shopping for the same great household essentials at Walmart’s everyday low prices on www.avoidtheoops.com. And by doing so, they’ll also save time so they can enjoy more of that summer sunshine.

This week I’m going to Avoid the Oops by stocking up for our cabin weekend away with friends. Wish me luck! Have you had an “oops” moment, friends? What was it?
