It’s raining, it’s pouring. Ok, ok, it’s not, but it was raining and pouring all day yesterday. That’s Spring in Minnesota. I love a good rain day inside the house. Movies on. Fireplace on. A big cup of coffee and lots of snuggles. Perfection.
But when I have to run around with both boys, pouring rain is a downer. I’ve started investing in clothing and gear that makes running in and out with both kids a bit easier. Bodhi has a fabulous umbrella. Both boys have great rain boots (and so do I). And I was recently sent this cute and stylish New Englander Rain Jacket from Charles River Apparel (available here) which was a lifesaver yesterday as I ran from preschool pickup to Target and back to my son’s school for family night followed by running over to a nearby pizza place for a group pizza party and then out to the car again before finally landing at home for a cozy night in.
I received the coral jacket which I love and it comes in gorgeous colors like mint and buttercup as well. Not only is the jacket eye-catching, but it is also functional with a hood, mesh lining for air-flow circulation and heat-sealed seams to seal out wind and rain.
The New Englander Rain Jacket is available at retailers such as Marley Lilly for $54.
Good news! One lucky reader is going to win a jacket in the color of your choice.
