Instead of hosting a big Halloween party for loads of kids, I decided to have a little fun with just our boys at home. I’m sharing how I put together a special after-school “Paw-ty” for my boys while keeping it all EASY!
My sweet Ezra has been obsessed with Paw Patrol for a while now. This week I teamed up with Party City and Nickelodeon to put together a fun and easy after school Paw Patrol inspired Halloween shindig.
We picked up a Paw Patrol Marshall costume and some fun accessories at Party City recently. Ezra was thrilled when he saw it and wanted it on right away. I knew we had to incorporate the costume into our little celebration.
Making daily traditions special can be really easy. Actually, I strive to make all of our traditions simple these days. Having an after-school Halloween celebration with just your kids (no guests) can be a fun tradition that you do each year and only do what feels manageable to you.
We kept ours simple and our boys still felt like it was super special.
How to put together an easy Halloween Paw-ty after school
- Decorate. We kept it very basic with white bulletin board paper and some paper bats. We placed pumpkins throughout our home too! Party City has tons of decorations you could simply attach to your wall to make this “event” feel special.
- Eat. Grab some fun treats at Party City or make something tasty. We chose pumpkin cookies and pumpkin cake bites. Yum!
- Get active. We dressed up, had a dance party and painted pumpkins. Painting pumpkins is super fun. First, we made a “Marshall” pumpkin using our Paw Patrol Marshall hat. Then we painted another pumpkin like a canvas using all the brightest colors. Kids can get as creative as they want.
Sometimes something as simple as a pumpkin dressed up like Marshall from Paw Patrol brings great joy! Seriously!
Halloween is such a fun time of the year with kids. Making everyday moments just a little extra special is so easy with Party City.
Get a little creative or simply dance! Let yourself have fun too!
Get in the Halloween spirit and keep it simple this year. Party City is your one-stop shop. Instead of running all over, save the time so you can make memories and joy with your family.
We love Paw Patrol – super fun!
