Before Bodhi was born in April 2011, I found out about Treat, Shutterfly’s greeting card brand. It used to have another name, but the same concept applied. As someone who LOVES to send cards and letters, I was worried that I wouldn’t have time once the baby arrived (and by the way, I was totally right!). I ordered birthday cards for every family member and friend whose birthday was on my calendar. I personalized them with photos and messages just for them. Treat allows you to schedule when the cards will be sent, so in December of 2010 I scheduled more than 50 cards to go out in 2011. Treat sends them all for you.
I feel like I’m giving away a dirty little secret since most family and friends were very impressed that I got cards out with a newborn. ;)
It was fantastic! Anyway, Treat is hosting a free card campaign today and tomorrow and I wanted to share it with you. It’s your chance to try out this service if you think it might be right for you. Let me tell you from personal experience, grandparents, aunts and uncles LOVE getting photo cards for their birthday. And it ends up being less expensive than buying standard cards at the store.
Treat has made it so easy for me to create and send one-of-a-kind greeting cards. Treat cards are perfect for holidays, birthdays, congrats, thank yous and every occasion in between including pregnancy, engagements, new homes etc…. It’s crazy fun. It’s super easy. And it’s totally personal.
A freebie for you!
