I never shared my fun Lamps Plus experience in San Francisco during Alt Summit with you all and thought today would be a great day to do just that.

The photo above is super super dorky. But it’s the only photo I have with Laurel and Amber. :( Photo courtesy of Wills Casa.

A few bloggers attending Alt Summit were invited to a fun and casual event put on by Lamps Plus featuring Anne from The City Sage and Michael Murphy. The event was put on to showcase the Color Plus lighting collection which I am in love with. Like everything at Alt, I had no idea who I would run into and went in hoping for the best. ;) Luckily, I quickly met Laurel who became one of my favorite people after a long bus ride from Lamps Plus back to our hotels. We had great conversation.

Then Lani walked in! Hooray! One of my people! Shortly after, I spotted my blog besties Nick and Amber from Wills Casa and all was right in my little world. A few other fabulous people also attended. Such fun!

We enjoyed cupcakes, conversation, one large coffee and lots of lamps.

Lamps Plus didn’t ask of us to do anything. We weren’t required to write a post or anything, but I really love the Color Plus collection. It is totally my style and fits my “pops of color” rule for my home.

All of the attendees received a store credit for anything from Lamps Plus. How awesome is that? We plan to use the credit for something for our formal living/dining room area which is very unfinished/unfurnished. Besides all of the beautiful Color Plus options, I have my eye on a few others as well.

I pinned these two beauties in the middle of our house-building and thought for sure they would end up in our home. They are gorgeous, but now I feel like they are too much for my style. I’ve started gravitating towards softer, less geometrical looks. So weird! When did that happen?

Right now I’m leaning towards two coral Color Plus collection lamps with white shades. What do you think? What would you choose?

Amber and Nick did a fun post on this event too. Stop by for their lighting picks.

I’m off to another blog conference and all sorts of cocktail parties this weekend, but this one is here in Minneapolis. I’m so excited to meet Minnesota bloggers, people I could actually see again soon. Have a wonderful weekend!

*I was not paid to write this post. I just love Lamps Plus products.
