Nonprofit event design plus a DIY backdrop

When I heard that my neighbor was throwing a formal family fundraising event to support the nonprofit she started in her daughter’s name,  I just knew I had to be a part of it.

I got involved just a few days before the event so wasn’t able to do much, but Heidi, the leading lady, had it all together!

I created a simple backdrop using circles cut in half. I punched two holes on each side of the flat side of the circle and then strung them with 1/4 inch ribbon.

Shannon of Grace & Guy Paperie designed several items for us pro bono. I have to put a HUGE thank you out there to Shannon. She designed water bottle labels and signs in two days and matched them to the organization’s logo. Amazing!

I work with Shannon on all of my events and she always comes through. She also fits almost any budget and comes up with beautiful custom designs. I planned to order these items and donate them myself, but she immediately said that she would donate them.

So lucky to be a part of this fun event and looking forward to more soon.
