I’ve had an extremely busy last few weeks at work, so while I am feeling a little exhausted, I try to not to let it take over my entire appearance. When I’m having a busy week and I’m strapped for time (which is usually always the case each morning while I am getting the kids dressed and ready for daycare), I throw on shorts or jeans, a tank and pull the look together with a blazer. This is one of my get-dressed-in-five minutes morning solutions.
I work from home so I am always casual, but I try to make it a point to get dressed every day, because it sets the tone and mood for me. It makes me feel fresh and ready to tackle the busy day ahead.
This blazer paired with boyfriend jeans would make the perfect weekend outfit.
I am thinking of trying this cardigan/blazer combo for fall.
You can usually find me in skinny jeans, but I am trying to mix it up. This style post by Atlantic-Pacific blog has me on a mission to find the perfect pair of distressed boyfriend jeans. A totally casual-yet-polished look that can easily take you from the park with flats to dinner with heels.
Could these possibly be my first pair?
I love a good heel, but I have gravitated towards flats after the kids for the obvious reasons. I’m always on the lookout for the next one and right now I have a thing for d’orsay flats. I have been eyeing this pair that you can literally wear with anything!
A recent discovery that has turned into my family’s “thing” is spotify’s soul station. Turn it on. Turn it up and dance!!
Hope you’re having a great week. The weekend is almost here!!
