Happy Monday and happy new week! Today is my husband’s birthday. He is such a solid, honest, kind, compassionate, forgiving and loving husband and daddy-O (as Bodhi calls him). Happy birthday to my rock, the love of my life, the sweetest most caring man I’ve ever known! We had a lovely weekend together. Little B was visiting Grandma, so we did all kinds of things we rarely get to do-massages at the spa, brunch, naps, dinner, drinks and the Aziz Ansari show in Minneapolis. We also slept in! Hallelujah! We were both very refreshed yesterday and so so so ready to get our little guy back yesterday afternoon. Now, on to today’s post.

I helped plan a baby shower with my friend Cassie of Chubbymama Cupcakes recently. Her sister Mandi is a very stylish woman living in Philadelphia with her sweet husband and soon-to-arrive baby girl. She is manager of product development for Urban Outfitters Europe and has great taste. Everything about her and her lifestyle scream chic and fabulous!

My friend Cassie came up with the theme “cue the confetti” with a color palette of pinks and golds. She is an amazing cake and cupcake baker/decorator, so the dessert table was a huge focal point. We hosted the event at a cool urban loft-like space called The Engine Room in downtown Minneapolis with exposed brick, hardwood floors and amazing vintage furniture. We worked with Shannon of Grace & Guy Paperie to come up with all of the custom “Cue the Confetti” printables which she will be selling in her shop.

We can’t wait to share the entire party with you soon. It included a lot of do-it-yourself projects—well, almost all DIY actually. Today we are thrilled to share two of the shower printables with you! They are 4×6 signs and fit perfectly in Ikea’s Tolsby frames which I use all the time.

We think they add a major pop to any table or wall!

Please pin these to Pinterest and share with the world. OK, just share with your friends! We think the quote signs could make lovely nursery art for a sweet baby girl as well! Watch for all of the party details in the coming days!

The entire Cue the Confetti baby shower collection will be available at Grace & Guy Paperie Designs Etsy shop soon.
