While I love all things pretty— design, party details etc…, fashion is not one of my strengths. I tend to stick to basic pieces and subtle accessories, but for our first family photo shoot this weekend, I wanted something more! So, I enlisted the help of two of my fashionista friends and our photographer. Here are the looks they came up with for me.
LOOK # 1—The first look is by Lisa of My Inner Fashionlogue. A simple yet stunning dress with a stack of bracelets, matte tights and heels.
Bracelets like these:
And I added these Tinley Road earrings for a subtle effect and at just $22 they will be a great addition to my jewelry box. Actually, I plan to wear these with any outfit I end up with. I needed to add some gold to my wardrobe and I’m a big fan of pavé! I didn’t know I loved it until my husband proposed just about three years ago. It was a huge surprise. My engagement ring and wedding band are both pavé. LOVE!
Look #3—And my photographer came up with the next two. I love them both.
Look #4—Another by Melissa.
My final look—All of these gave me inspiration when shopping. It really helped me narrow down my look. I’ll be sure to share the photos once we get them back. I’m very budget-conscious, so both outfits I ended up purchasing were less than $100 including accessories. I have a casual outfit and a more fancy outfit—still deciding which to wear.
