Friends! Busy season has been busy season and beyond this year. I’ve never had such a full Fall in my business before and keeping up with all of life’s demands has been challenging. Today I’m excited to share how to make life a bit easier during busy seasons in life.
One way I’ve taken charge to make things easier is by having meals ready to go. MorningStar Farms® Veggie Bowls are my go-to meals for lunch between photo shoots, client phone calls and picking up the kiddos.
Sometimes I’m eating on the fly. Other times I’m at my desk working. Either way these Veggie Bowls fit my lifestyle and goals so well.
With the ability to heat and eat, Veggie Bowls help me balance family, work and life goals in a health-conscious way. We are vegetarian so these bowls are especially fabulous for us, yet they are for everyone. These are great for families, busy working people, general health-conscious people and more. I struggle so much to find a schedule that works for a healthier lifestyle and finally found one that works for me.
6 a.m. Get up and enjoy coffee.
6:30 a.m. Pack lunches and bags.
7 a.m. Wake up the boys and feed them breakfast.
7:30 a.m. Start dressing the boys.
8 a.m. Out the door for my younger guy and husband. Hooray!
8:30 a.m. Bus or school drop-off for the big guy.
8:45 a.m. Gym or run outside.
9:45 a.m. Shower and start work.
Work takes up the rest of my day. The only reason I’m able to sneak the gym in before work is because I know I won’t stop for a lunch break. I’ll simply heat up these delicious Veggie Bowls and work through lunch.
How to find time for exercise:
- Take notes throughout your day for a couple of days. How do you spend your time?
- Find a few places that could be changed. For example, my husband often went out for lunch with friends and colleagues. Instead, he now brings his own MorningStar Farms Veggie Bowl and works out over his lunch break most days. He can still be social one day a week, but the other four are for his health. Social media can be a time suck as can email. Can you limit how long you spend on them? Does that buy you time for a 10-minute walk?
- Pencil in exercise. Whether you go to the gym for 30 minutes or an hour, take a run on your lunch break or simply sneak in some walks throughout the day, there are usually ways to make exercise a priority and it will be worth it!
