I received two framed Minted art prints in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

Home sweet home sweet home

We’ve lived in our home for more than three years now. And it is just starting to feel like home. A combination of truly finishing rooms and getting rid of things we don’t need have been the two main ways things have felt like ours.

Home sweet home. Finishing a house with meaningful art.

We’ve also figured out how to live with kids. Simple things like baskets for their toys, less stuff around that they can make messes with or break, less sharp edges and ways to display their art work have been helpful. We no longer own fabric dining chairs. Everything should be washable.

Home sweet home: Art

When it comes to finishing rooms and our home, I find that adding art is always last for me. It’s expensive and often hard to find things we love. But adding meaningful and beautiful art to the walls really does help complete rooms.

Minted recently sent me two pieces of art in frames. I’ve used Minted before for art. You can see that in our family room reveal last year. I love that you can either order a print you love and frame it yourself or can order the print with the frame just as you want it. It comes completely ready to be hung. This makes things so much easier.

The pieces we got this year are a bit different than my normal taste but I like them for fall and winter. We ordered two pieces from the Gilded and Graphic set from Splendid Supply Co. on Minted.

There really are art prints for everyone on Minted.com. I’ve found things for both boys’ bedrooms, our family room, custom art ideas, foil-pressed art and more. You can get 25% off of Minted Art today using code CM2015.
