I love shopping on Black Friday and spent yesterday with my grandma. She is the best shopping companion. Patient, not irritable, organized and stays on track, exactly the traits I find important in a shopping buddy. I love shopping with her and we make it a tradition each year to grab a coffee and hit the shops. We typically get almost her entire list and at least half of mine done in one day. We both stay positive and cheerful no matter how long the lines are or how many people bump into us, cut in front of us or how tired and hungry we get.
We prepare on Thanksgiving Day going through the newspaper ads and mapping out our plan based on our location and our priorities. We don’t start super early, but we get out early enough to get a lot done in a few hours.
This year Target offered some amazing Black Friday shopping deals.
The Black Friday deal items that topped my shopping list this year are:
- PJs for women. I always buy PJs for stocking stuffers for my family.
- Digital cameras for someone special (who will remain unnamed).
- A steamer mop for our home.
- And lots more.
