Here are just a few of my favorite posts from around the blogosphere this past month.
This post on the mountains of sleep advice out there had me laughing, crying and saying “Amen!” and I don’t even say “amen.” A lot of you know my sleep story with B, so let’s just say that I literally tried everything in this post hoping for some kind of miracle or magic to happen. It doesn’t exist! Some things work for some kids and not for others.
Zen Habit’s post about flowing with the stresses of kids (or anyone else) was so refreshing. Read the part about the boat. Rarely in this world do people do things simply to get you. And of course, the parenting pieces were huge for me.
This post sharing the inside story on Food Babe’s visit to Kraft to discuss artificial food dyes was fascinating. And disheartening.
These free printable art prints from Ashley Ella Design are lovely!
The gallery wall Tiffany designed for her sweet daughter Genevieve turned out amazing! I love the mix of modern, vintage and just plain bright and cute!
I’d also like to welcome a new sponsor here. You can visit their website and get gift coupon codes for many online retailers and more.
My work elsewhere
Our Cue the Confetti baby shower that I helped style and photograph was featured on Kara’s party ideas.
Bodhi’s first birthday was featured on Apartment Therapy.
For all you locals, my article about the new educational playgrounds in Eden Prairie and Chanhassen was published in Southwest Metro Magazine’s May edition. It offers some fun options for kids.
I know I’ve said it several times, but we are so excited to have been nominated for the Circle of Moms Top 25 Party Planning Blogs list and I would be thrilled if you would take a moment to vote for us. Just click this link and hit “vote” next to Live the fancy life. We would love to make the top 25 list this year. What an honor.
My published page will bring you to all of my work.
Are you all feeling ready for the weekend? One more day until Friday! We’re ready to have my sweet hubby back after a week traveling for work.
