When it comes to home décor and design, I love making simple furniture fit our style and needs. I was given the opportunity to style Sauder’s gorgeous credenza. I knew it would be perfect in our formal dining room (which isn’t all that formal at all) because of its size, style and storage.
Making your house into a home means creating a space YOU love, not something that others prefer. It’s all about styling a space that’s your own — even if that space contains the same basic bookcase or everyday coffee table. For me, that means making it beautifully functional. I love the look of real life and I styled this piece of furniture just the way I prefer it to be… pops of color, layers of art, fabric, practical pieces like a lamp, easy access to hosting items and decor items to add a little fun. Oh and chocolate cake! Who doesn’t love cake?
Sauder offers affordable style for any budget. And this piece is gorgeous plus offers the function I need in my dining room! In this case, I set it up for hosting a few friends for cake and coffee.
Sauder has been around for years — 80 years, to be exact and 90 percent of the elements of Sauder furniture pieces are manufactured in the U.S.
With more than 40 collections of furniture, with pieces for every room of the house, anyone with any style can find affordable pieces to complete a room or make your house into the home you’ve dreamed of.
Checkout the Sauder Lookbook for styling ideas from other bloggers and be sure to swing by and see another way I styled the piece for Easter.
